Beautiful Sinner
Oh, the lies we tell!! We want others to see us as wonderful, fabulous, smart, awesome and amazing. Sometimes we are even trying to see ourselves that way.
So we fabricate. We improvise in search of the perfection that always seems to evade us. We fixate on someone we see as perfect, and try to imitate.
”I’ll have more friends if I’m perfect.” “Jesus will love me more if I’m perfect.” I’ll love myself more if I’m perfect.”
When will we realize there here is no perfection in this life on earth? When will we stop seeking after something we cannot attain and turn our eyes to that which is attainable?
Ladies, there isn’t a single one of us who is without sin. We are all sinners. But that doesn’t mean we can’t be loved and accepted. That doesn’t mean we can’t be treasured by others. Being a sinner doesn’t mean we can’t be beautiful.
We need to walk in the truth of who we are...sinners saved by the abundant grace of God. Sinners who have the opportunity for repentance and salvation. Sinners who have the capacity to love and be loved. Sinners who are adored by our Savior. Sinners who can walk in the truth of who they are with the full expectation of experiencing love, joy, peace and happiness because we belong to Jesus. Yes ladies, we are sinners...beautiful sinners. Praise be to God that He looks past our sins and into our hearts.
